An explanation is needed for this page. In 1987, after the poorly-received (but excellent) album "Reflection", Demis decided to re-visit the songs that made him famous, beginning a major revival of his career. He re-recorded many of the old Aphrodite's Child tracks, as well as Vangelis-penned tracks like "Because". He even tackles some of the famous Jon and Vangelis tunes! It all began with "The Story of Demis Roussos" and continues to this day, with him doing a new arrangement on his latest solo album from 2000. I separate these recordings from the others because Vangelis is not involved personally on these projects, but the songs that he wrote or helped write are being re-recorded here. Some Vangelis collectors are not interested in these, so it may be helpful to cross-check this list when you are preparing to buy a title. Sorry, I won't be noting the tracks in the Notes here either, it is just too much work!
