And then, in 2007, we finally were blessed with the Ultimate Collector's Edition of Blade Runner. Ridley Scott and DVD Producer Charles de Lauzirika compiled 5 different cuts of the film and a ton of bonus material and Warner Bros. Home Video has released all of this in about a million ways...so it seems. The Final Cut is the latest cut of the film and it is this version that truly drives this effort. In the 5 disc editions, there is also the Workprint, which was only circulating previously in the hands of fans taken from a camcorder a few years back. Warner has gone all out with the deluxe packaging. I have concentrated on the deluxe editions and will eventually add all the info on the standard issues of The Final Cut. There is just too much to buy at once!!!!
