This video from 1995 provides a history of Henry Maske, the German boxer who used Vangelis' "Conquest of Paradise" as his entrance theme music when he entered the boxing ring. Subsequently, the song went on to be the second biggest selling single in Germany of all time, and tore through the rest of Europe in a similar fashion. This video contains snippets of "Conquest of Paradise", plus a montage at the end, set to the entire song. Little oddities like this are fun to find, as it takes a bit of research to even determine that there is any connection to Vangelis at all.
