I did not really look hard for this film on video up until recently. I have known about the film but I assumed it was never released on video. This Spanish film, starring a young Victoria Abril, did not appear to have theatrical release outside of Spain.  But as I started digging, I realized that it was released briefly on home video in the early 80s in Spain on both VHS and Beta formats! This film is of interest to us because it uses music from ¿No Oyes Ladrar los Perros? I was very happy to recently purchase a copy. The film is amazingly powerful but not an easy subject to tackle...the difficulty in raising an autistic child.  It's difficult when two parents are there, but Ms. Abril is a single mother and the stress is overwhelming to the point that a difficult decision is made. A film like this should be released on DVD!
