Vangelis decided to give his 1995 project, FOROS TIMHS STON GKREKO, worldwide release in 1998, adding three additional tracks and making slight edits here and there to fit this new project on one CD. This release created some difficulties for me as a collector. east west started using CDRs to promote the album. As you know, CDRs are very easily duplicated, so knowing if you have an original or a fake is not so easy anymore. Plus, places like Esprit in England started charging astronomical prices for these promotional CDRs. I personally waited a year before I started really adding them to my collection. The most exciting item in some time came in the form of a new promotional box, noted below. While not as packed as the blue box from 1995, this one is still as exciting, with the leather clasp that closes the box, and the press materials inside the box, plus given the fact that there were only 500 of these made, and most were given out to dignitaries, so there are not many floating around out there for sale.
