VANGELIS Themes

In 1989, Polydor made a lot of people happy by releasing this compilation album from Vangelis' Polydor years. The collection highlights the best of his Polydor/Nemo Studio years, and would include cuts from the Blade Runner soundtrack, as well as from Missing and The Bounty. There were singles released for the album, which always makes the collectors happy. Also intersting to note that this album would mark a change of how Vangelis records were released in general. LP production was on the decline, and would be noted significantly after Themes. Also, CD production in Europe was being done mostly in Germany, and there would be a decrease in pressings from most European countries (the newly formed EEC). This would be the last LP for Vangelis in the USA.
